DAY 1 — Arrival & UNTANGLE
GROUNDING · FIRST CONNECTION
The day begins with a welcome circle and grounding practice — a chance to step away from the noise and into presence, to land, exhale, and begin co-regulating with horses and humans alike.
You’ll be introduced to the principles of Natural Horsemanship before meeting your horse and heading out on your first trail ride through river valleys and forests, stopping for a riverside meditation and picnic lunch along the way.
The evening is yours to restore — spa time flows into a gentle embodied movement session, and the day closes with a quiet wind-down and intention setting to anchor what’s ahead.
DAY 2 — presence & clarity
REGULATE · INTENTION · ACTION
The morning begins with yoga focused on spine mobility, hip openness, and breathwork — all specifically tailored to support your riding. This flows into a guided body awareness session to prepare you before working with the horses.
The centrepiece of the day is the 2.5-hour Natural Horsemanship Masterclass, where you’ll explore presence, touch, energy, groundwork, and riding patterns with a certified professional.
The afternoon brings an integration trail ride followed by a river swim, and the day closes with yin yoga and a quartz singing bowl sound bath to settle your nervous system into deep rest.
DAY 3 — TRUST & INTEGRATION
Ride Home with Confidence
The final day opens with an intuitive yoga session — moving from feel rather than rules. Then comes the centrepiece: the Long Ride, a journey through varied wilderness terrain that calls on everything you’ve built over the past two days.
A scenic picnic lunch breaks up the afternoon, which leads into the liberty session — working with horses completely free of halter and rope, a profound test of the presence and trust you’ve been cultivating.
The retreat closes with a circle of gratitude and reflection before departure at 5pm, a chance to honour what you’ve learned and carry it forward with renewed clarity, calm, and trust in your own rhythm.
